Email Performance Specialist

Our client is a well-known retailer with a large customer base reached through e-mail and a loyalty programme. The team is looking to make its campaigns and customer journeys more effective by understanding what the data reveals. As a permanent member of the marketing team, you’ll turn those insights into more relevant communications and stronger customer engagement.

The opportunity

Retail brings together changing collections, in-store experiences and online shopping. Our client serves customers across both channels and is investing in data-led, personalised e-mail communication and loyalty. In this role, you’ll help the team understand campaign performance and use those insights to improve customer journeys and programme effectiveness.

What you'll do

• Analyse newsletter, campaign and automated journey performance, including conversion, revenue, customer value, engagement and retention.

• Identify trends, anomalies and opportunities in customer and campaign data.

• Set up and assess A/B tests and other experiments, turning results into recommendations.

• Improve customer journeys and support lifecycle marketing across activation, retention, reactivation and loyalty.

• Use CRM data to personalise communications, contribute to loyalty programme development, and monitor opt-in management and deliverability in line with GDPR.

What you bring

• At least three years’ experience in e-mail, CRM or loyalty marketing; retail experience is preferred.

• Experience using marketing automation and CRM tools, such as Bloomreach, Salesforce, Selligent or Klaviyo.

• Experience with A/B testing, KPI analysis and data-led campaign or customer journey optimisation.

• Understanding of segmentation, personalisation and lifecycle marketing, with a commercial focus on the customer experience.
