About our role:
Our client is a leading bank in Belgium looking for an experienced Optichannel Strategist & Digital Journey / CRO Expert to join its Digital Marketing Chapter within the Marketing & Communication department.
Banking customers increasingly expect clear, accessible and consistent experiences, whether they interact through a website, mobile application, contact centre or physical branch. At the same time, financial organisations must improve digital performance while maintaining customer trust, accessibility, security and compliance within a highly regulated environment.
In this strategic role, you will design, optimise and continuously improve end-to-end customer journeys across digital and offline touchpoints. You will combine customer journey strategy, conversion rate optimisation, digital analytics, experimentation and AI-enabled marketing to create connected experiences that improve engagement, conversion and business performance.
What you will be doing:
- Define and optimise end-to-end customer journeys across digital and offline channels, ensuring a consistent optichannel customer experience.
- Analyse customer behaviour, journey performance and digital analytics to identify optimisation opportunities and improve engagement, conversion and customer satisfaction.
- Lead Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) initiatives by defining hypotheses, coordinating A/B testing and translating results into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with UX, SEO, CRM, Analytics, IT, Content and business teams to deliver customer-centred digital experiences and continuous journey improvements.
- Leverage customer insights, AI-enabled marketing capabilities and performance data to drive personalisation and evidence-based decision-making.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment and promote a culture of experimentation, continuous optimisation and measurable business impact.
What you bring:
- Relevant of experience in Digital Marketing, Customer Journey Management, CRO, Digital Experience or a related discipline, with proven expertise in designing and optimising omnichannel customer journeys.
- Strong knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), experimentation, A/B testing, digital analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar) and data-driven decision-making.
- Good understanding of UX principles, human-centred design, customer journey mapping and the ability to translate business objectives and customer insights into optimisation strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills, with experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams across Marketing, Product, IT and Analytics.
- Experience in banking, financial services or another regulated environment is a strong asset. Knowledge of SEO, personalisation, marketing automation, AI-enabled marketing and attribution models is considered an advantage.
- Full professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a strong asset, together with a collaborative, inclusive and results-oriented mindset.

- Contractor collaboration for an initial six-month assignment, with possibilities for extensions. (Start as soon as possible)

- Hybrid working model, with part-time presence at our client’s Brussels office required.
- The expected working arrangement is approximately 50% on-site and 50% remote.
