Our client is looking for a technically skilled and collaborative professional to join their team as a Data Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimising data pipelines, enabling AI workflows, and supporting data visualisation initiatives across multiple divisions.
You’ll work closely with another data engineer and collaborate with stakeholders across business, marketing, analytics, and global teams. If you’re passionate about data architecture, automation, and driving innovation, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
What you will be doing:
- Design and maintain scalable data engineering pipelines using GCP, Azure, and local servers.
- Transform raw data into clean, reusable datasets for business analysts and stakeholders.
- Automate ETL/ELT processes to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Perform data aggregation, filtering, and manipulation to support business needs.
- Troubleshoot and maintain BI tools and guide junior team members.
- Manage data warehouse governance and access control.
- Develop and document technical architecture and security standards.
- Support dashboard and report creation using BI tools like Power BI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with business goals.
- Promote data-driven strategies in an accessible and intuitive way across teams.
What you bring:
- Ambition to further develop your career in data engineering and analytics.
- Proven experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and BI (3+ years).
- Past experience in the consumer electronics industry is a plus.
- Your strengths include ETL, data modelling, and cloud computing.
- Working experience with tools such as Python, SQL, Airflow, dbt, Power BI, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, Databricks) is essential.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are needed in this job.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Linux, and Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and build strong relationships across teams.
- Preferred: experience with RPA, web scraping, real-time pipelines, and GitHub page management.
