About our role:

Our client is looking for an experienced, pragmatic and people-focused professional to join their team as a Senior Scrum Master. This is an exciting opportunity to guide operational platform teams through an agile transformation while helping them build a product-centric mindset that supports long-term business outcomes. 

In this role, you will be responsible for coaching operational platform teams, facilitating agile practices, removing organisational impediments, and helping teams evolve towards a proactive and customer-oriented way of working. You will collaborate closely with Platform Owners, agile coaches, Scrum Masters, and technical specialists, making a meaningful impact on operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and the successful adoption of agile principles across the organisation.

What you will be doing:

• Coach up to two operational platform teams during their transition towards a product-centric and agile way of working. 
• Support teams in adopting automation and self-service principles while respecting security and compliance requirements. 
• Design and implement tailored agile approaches that match the operational realities of each team.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and adapt events, artefacts, and processes to maximise team effectiveness. 
• Coach team members and Product Owners on Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, Lean thinking, and hybrid agile models. 
• Help teams shift their focus from operational requests towards customer value, outcomes, and product roadmaps. 
• Identify and remove impediments, particularly those related to security, compliance, and audit constraints. 
• Promote a culture of ownership, psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Platform Owners on backlog refinement, prioritisation, and value-driven planning. 
• Contribute actively to the agile community of practice and share insights with fellow Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches. 

What you bring:

• Ambition to further develop your career in Agile delivery, organisational transformation, and platform operations.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting teams through agile transformations.
• Past experience in the energy sector, infrastructure environments, or operational platform teams is considered an advantage. 
• Your strengths include Scrum, Kanban, Lean methodologies, agile coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement. 
• Experience working within environments that operate under strict security, audit, or compliance requirements. 
• Working knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, and hybrid delivery approaches. Knowledge of LeSS is a plus. 
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and continuous improvement skills.
• Excellent facilitation skills, with the ability to create engagement and encourage constructive conversations. 
• Ability to adapt your coaching style to different team contexts and organisational environments.
• Strong communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered a plus.
