About our role: 

Our client is a global leader in consumer electronics seeking a (Junior) E-commerce Category Manager — Mobile to elevate the smartphone and accessories category on the Benelux direct-to-consumer e-store. You’ll blend commercial ownership with product storytelling, ensuring high-quality product detail pages, compelling promotions, and a smooth path to purchase across the entire customer journey.

You will shape category strategy using data-driven insights, market trends, and customer feedback, with a clear focus on availability, pricing integrity, and post-purchase satisfaction. The Benelux e-commerce market continues to expand and electronics remain a top online category—making this an ideal moment to drive impact in Mobile through best-in-class merchandising, forecasting, and cross-functional execution.

What you will be doing: 

  • Product Marketing (40%) — Set category goals and pricing guardrails; plan and coordinate campaigns, bundles and promotions; optimise product pages (PDPs), imagery and copy for visibility, SEO and conversion.
  • Reporting, Analysis & Forecasting (30%) — Monitor performance against targets; analyse traffic, conversion, attach and return rates; build demand forecasts and present clear insights to guide commercial decisions.
  • Product Availability & Logistics (20%) — Secure healthy stock levels, track inbound/outbound flows and constraints, and support after-sales processes to protect customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Management (10%) — Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Legal and Finance to align plans, ensure compliance, and land flawless category executions.

What you bring: 

  • Ambition to further develop your career in e-commerce/category management within consumer electronics.
  • 1–3 years of solid experience in a similar role (e-commerce, product or category management). If you’re earlier in your career with the right skills and drive, we still want to hear from you.
  • Experience in consumer electronics or mobile is a plus.
  • You’re at your best when balancing analytical depth with practical action to improve the customer journey.
  • Your strengths include commercial planning, PDP optimisation, campaign coordination, and forecasting using Excel/Sheets and BI dashboards.
  • Working experience with tools such as Excel (advanced), web analytics and merchandising platforms is key; A/B testing tools are nice to have.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and prioritisation skills.
  • Fluent communication skills (written and spoken) in Dutch and English.
