About our role:
Our client is a global leader in consumer electronics, known for shaping technology that connects people, ideas, and cultures. In today’s fast-paced media landscape, corporate reputation and trust are built through clarity, consistency, and authenticity across every channel.
Our client is looking for a commercially driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to join their Sales team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of strategic retail accounts, build long-term partnerships, and drive sustainable sales growth. You'll combine commercial insight with data-driven decision-making to identify new business opportunities, optimize product performance, and ensure customers receive the best possible support.
You'll collaborate with the Sales Manager, fellow Account Managers, Marketing, Retail Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal and Customer Service teams. You'll also be the trusted point of contact for your retail partners, working together to develop joint business plans and maximize commercial opportunities.
What you will be doing:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts through strategic business planning and regular customer visits.
- Identify growth opportunities by introducing new products, supporting retail expansions and maximizing product availability.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and manage yearly business plans together with your customers.
- Monitor sales performance, forecasts and market trends, translating insights into concrete commercial actions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of promotions, product launches and marketing initiatives.
- Analyze sales data, prepare reports and presentations, and provide recommendations to optimize business performance.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and product launches while strengthening brand visibility.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in account management, sales or retail within a commercial environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into commercial opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
- Customer-oriented, proactive and results-driven approach.
- Fluent in English and French, with a good command of Dutch.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are considered an asset.
