About our role

Our client, the agency behind IT/Digital projects for the government, is looking for a talented and experienced Product Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and accessible digital products for the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons (CGRS) as part of their modernization journey with the eDossier program.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders and make a real impact on providing protection to those in need following Belgian, European, and international standards.

What you will be doing

• Design user-centric digital products focusing on usability and visual design.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, and conduct user testing.
• Develop visually appealing interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience.

What you bring

• Experience in a similar role, with hands-on UX/UI design experience.
• Past experience in government IT/Digital projects is nice to have.
• Your strengths are proficiency in design frameworks, prototyping, and wireframing.
• Working experience with tools such as HTML, CSS, Java, and/or TypeScript are essential.
• Strong communication skills in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
