About our role:

Our client is an important player in the public sector. They are looking for a passionate hands on project manager, with knowledge of digital transformation and with the motivation to learn about the Belgian legal system. You will be responsible for driving digitalisation within a complex organisation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in service of the public interest with a innovative team, and make a real impact on the digital transformation process of a public entity. What you will be doing:

• Your main responsibility will be overseeing and managing planning, execution and final roll out, including testing, of a specific subject of the web platform

• You will take care of budget, alignment of all stakeholders and supervise established timelines

• It will be expected of you to create a vision and strategy for the optimization of all functionalities concerning the web platform

• Together with other project managers you will be responsible for constant improvement of the platform in order to enhance user experience

• You will be the bridge between business and IT

What you bring:

• You have worked in various IT-project environments as a Project Manager and preferably also as a Business Analyst or Product Owner (or similar)

• You know your way around with technical projects

• Past experience in IT industry or Public sector a big plus

• You have worked in agile and waterfall project management methods particularly in complex environments

• You know how to organise requirement meetings

• Working experience with tools such as Jira/Confluence is key

• Experience with BPMN-tools is a big plus

• Your strengths are stakeholder management, attention to detail and you have great communication skills

• Strong language skills (written and oral) in English, Dutch and French (at least business proficiency)
