Salesforce Marketing Cloud Squad Lead

Ariad is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Squad Lead for a long-term freelance mission or permanent contract.

The role is based in Brussels and the successful candidate will work on assignments with international clients throughout Belgium as well as together with teams based in the EMEA region.

For this role you need to be able to translate business objectives in tool features and processes and have professional level of verbal and written English.

The successful candidate will have between 4 and 10 years experience in marketing automation, valid SFMC certifications as well as relevant professional experience.

This role requires in depth knowledge of the Salesforce marketing cloud and is split into various tasks and responsibilities:

  • Define strategic, functional and technical needs based on client input
  • Lead and configure the implementation of new setups
  • Build and orchestrate emails, journeys, automations
  • Proactively identify and recommend solutions to improve customer engagement, sales or other key growth objectives
  • Lead the analysis of difficult system problems and, in collaboration with team members, recommend solutions
  • Document technical designs and key decisions

Lead SFMC-Squad
  • Responsible for the planning and allocation of the SFMC projects in the squad
  • Identify SFMC resource needs and support in the recruitment
  • Coach and provide feedback to other squad members
  • Participate in the reviews
  • Manage the SFMC Sandbox
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication when needed
  • Help putting in place squad initiatives
  • Coach and lead junior consultants
Business development
  • Support the sales teams in business development (both on existing clients and in pitches)
  • Assist the sales teams with client communications around SFMC knowledge, and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear strategic vision to each client

POC for Salesforce
  • Staying on top of SFMC releases and liaising with Salesforce on any technical issues or requests
  • Near follow-up of new trends and evolutions within the SF ecosystem and specifically on SFMC
  • Introduce and drive adoption of new features
  • Align with other SFMC experts on a regular basis and facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the company
