Digital banking is shaking up the financial industry, its arrival signals the biggest shift ever in the way in which people manage their personal finances and it has captured the imagination of millennials becoming the first port of call for contact with their bank. Nevertheless, there is still a huge untapped market for these services as there remains a large percentage of consumers who do not have access to or perhaps simply don’t understand the benefits of digital banking. Looking ahead, the difference between competitors in the sector will increasingly be determined by the ability to create an intuitive user experience and a complete customer engagement offering, including personalised offers based on data analytics and smart usage of location-based data.

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to work for one of the biggest banks in Belgium.

Your challenge

You will help in supporting project teams in delivering easy to use interfaces to the customer and efficient interfaces to employees to increase customer satisfaction. You are very user minded, focused on usability and are able to guide projects to delivering a good looking and user-friendly product.

You will:

  • Create and ensure the styling of the brand.

  • Contribute to brainstorm and requirements gathering workshops.

  • Participate to regular design/development meetings

  • Assist in the design of wireframes

  • Assist in the design of clickable (high- and low- fidelity) prototypes

  • Design key screens both for mobile and desktop applications

  • Consult, understand and reuse existing interactive and visual components

  • Create new visual and interactive components

  • Ensure visual and UX consistency

Are you the one? - Your profile

  • You put the customer first by providing and excellent customer experience.

  • Proficient in industry-standard visual and graphic design tools (e.g. Sketch, Illustrator and Photoshop)

  • Working experience with industry-standard user experience and front-end development tools (e.g. Invision, Zeplin and Abstract)

  • Proven experience in process design (including requirement gathering, prototyping, visual design, development and user testing)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. You're not afraid of speaking up in a business meeting!

  • Knows how to align different business goals and drivers to a common goal ie. the end-2-end case for the customer
