About our role

Our client is at the forefront of the European electricity system, providing critical links between electricity producers and 30 million end users. As the industry embraces the digital era, our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior UX Researcher to spearhead user research and help transition towards a more user-centric paradigm. This role is a pivotal part of managing new lines of business, delivering cost-effective products, and ensuring product success.

In this role, you will lead UX research activities, craft user-centric solutions, and work closely with UI Designers to deliver high-fidelity interactive prototypes evaluated by users. This is an incredible opportunity to impact the energy sector's digital transformation and ensure the safety and efficiency of digital tools for infrastructure maintenance.

What you will be doing

• Lead UX research activities and document findings in our Research repository.
• Prepare and conduct workshops on functional framing, ideation, co-design, user tests, and focus groups.
• Collect user needs and feedback using appropriate research methods.
• Create personas and define interaction models with measurable success criteria.
• Identify and formalize business processes, use cases, and user journeys.
• Create storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Present ideas and concepts to stakeholders and collaborate with UI Designers and Developers.

What you bring

• Ambition to further develop your career in the UX research field.
• 7+ years of experience in design thinking and UX research within agile project environments.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Proficiency in creating low-fidelity wireframes and user flows in Figma.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-standard work.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills; fluent in French or Dutch and English.
