Senior Social Media Strategist - Banking

Our client a leading bank based in Brussels is looking for a Social Media Strategist . You will play a key role in translating their communications strategy and plans into a social strategy that increases the brand image and develops social thought leadership.

Great, what are my responsibilities?

  • Translate the communications plan into a creative & effective social media plan and calendar that drive our brand’s social media equity and positive share of voice: posts, articles, video …

  • Work with different stakeholders and translate their business and/or brand objectives into social media objectives.

  • Maintain & update the governance and budget of Social Media channels.

  • Create and/or advise on new ways to deliver messaging through social media content. You either work with agencies to develop content assets or create low-cost assets in-house.

  • Responsible for daily monitoring and reporting, aimed at protecting the brand’s reputation online. You’re flexible and are available during weekends when needed (stand-by 1 weekend out of 3).

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and source impactful content and ensure coherence throughout all touchpoints (agile way of working - expert role).

  • ?Stay up-to-date with social media trends and make recommendations to increase the engagement of audiences.

Are you the one? - Yes if:

  • You’re a senior social media strategist, with a minimum of five years’ experience in an agency or in-house. You’re able to see the overall picture (helicopter view - strategic thinking).

  • You have proven experience in managing social pages for brands and in stakeholder management. Experience in working agile and using collaborative tools (Wrike) is a definite plus.

  • You have strong copywriting skills in either French or Dutch and are proficient in English.

  • You have a creative eye and are passionate about creating engaging brand content, from B2B LinkedIn articles to IG stories. You’ll also be able to constantly push our social pages to innovate with content through great creative ideas.
