About our role:
Our client is a major European consumer organisation known for advocating consumer rights and protection. They are searching for a Group Service Manager Digital Channels to lead the development and management of their digital product portfolio. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the digital product strategy, enhancing digital channels, and elevating user experiences across Europe. What you will be doing:
- Digital Product Strategy and Vision:
- Define and advocate the digital product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay on top of trends, understand customer preferences, and discover opportunities for product enhancements.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including local teams and product lines (such as Consumption, Health & Food, Legal, and Finance), to prioritise features and harmonise digital product roadmaps.
- Digital Product Planning and Execution:
- Coordinate the formalisation and international alignment of detailed digital product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development process in Business Technology (BT).
- Collaborate with Customer Experience experts, designers, BT, local commercial teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.
- Introduce agile methodologies to plan and manage product releases, sprints, and backlogs effectively.
- Continuously monitor and analyse product metrics, user feedback, and market trends to enhance product performance and user satisfaction.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead a team of Digital Experts, providing guidance, mentoring, and support for their professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the digital product team and with local teams and departments.
- Coordinate and align product efforts across multiple teams, facilitating efficient communication, prioritisation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage and communicate with local teams, including executives, to gather input and ensure alignment on their digital vision and roadmap.
- Build strong relationships with local and group stakeholders, advocating for customer-centricity while balancing business objectives.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering).
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager or in a similar digital product role.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate a complex international environment.
- Proven track record of delivering digital products and driving product strategy successfully.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, market research, and data-driven decision-making.
- Solid understanding of digital technologies, including web and mobile applications, UX/UI design, and data analytics.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies, product management principles, and user-centred design.
