About our role

Our client is a leading player in the banking industry in Belgium, and they are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Business Analyst. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between business and IT teams, ensuring seamless implementation of digital solutions that meet customer and business needs. With a strong focus on digital transformation, this position offers the chance to work on exciting projects that redefine customer experiences in the banking sector.

What you will be doing

• Identify and collect business needs, performing functional/technical analysis to refine and prepare demands for implementation.
• Act as the liaison between delivery (IT) and business teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements.
• Manage the refinement process, including planning and facilitating meetings, and following up on all actions.
• Provide analytical and technical expertise to find effective solutions for complex business challenges, focusing on digital and marketing solutions.
• Analyse the impact of business specifications and system changes, collaborating with process and change managers to ensure seamless transitions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed specifications for IT departments, ensuring user-centric and agile practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, business partners, operations, and IT teams.

What you bring

• Ambition to excel in digital business analysis within the banking sector.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT or business analysis.
• Proven experience with digital transformation projects in consulting/client-facing environments.
• Strong project management skills and familiarity with Agile-Scrum delivery frameworks.
• Technical expertise and understanding of IT solutions, with a desire to learn more.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal) in Dutch, French, and English.
• Preferred qualifications include experience within a financial institution, BPMN knowledge, and a strong IT affinity.
