For one of our clients – an established bank and insurance group – we are looking for an experienced Customer Insights Manager.

What are your responsibilities?

  • You generate customer intelligence based on internal and external data sources with the goal of realizing commercial and customer-focused objectives.

  • You coordinate a team of data scientists and analysts to accomplish these business objectives.

  • You share customer intelligence knowledge with internal stakeholders and align with them in recurrent meetings.

  • You manage several projects (from practical elaboration to follow-up) related to data-driven marketing, digital analytics, and data governance. This includes the construction of business cases, risk management, resource planning, communication, reporting, training and being the single point of contact for these projects.

  • You contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s data strategy and represent the company in various committees and decision-making bodies, as a back-up for the department head.

  • You give quarterly updates on the data strategy development and monitor the project roadmap on a monthly basis.

  • You conduct data analyses to support business decision and generate relevant insights (in collaboration with operational teams in data and IT).

What are the job requirements?

  • You have a few years of professional experience in a fast paced, demanding environment in a job focused on business intelligence, business analytics or data analytics.

  • You have excellent analytical skills and are able to translate business goals into data requirements and data into business opportunities.

  • You are very organized, a critical thinker and a quick learner, who is able to work in an autonomous, proactive way.

  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to give presentations, have meetings with stakeholders, work in teams fluently and take on responsibility.

  • You possess strong project management skills and an organized, business-oriented mindset.

  • You are very fluent in both Dutch and French (both oral and written) and have a good level of English.

  • You have experience working with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Stata, SAS, Python, R, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau…).

  • You have a quantitatively/business oriented Master’s degree (e.g. in Engineering, Finance or Mathematics) or equivalent knowledge through experience.

  • You have a previous work experience or a strong interest in the insurance industry and are interested in marketing and everything digital.
