For our client, a governmental organisation, we are looking for a hands-on team player ready to start as a Project Manager in charge of enhancing their projects in their process of digitalization!

You will be responsible for managing the project backlog, coordinating with stakeholders and overseeing the success and implementation of the client’s database project.

Your responsibilities:

  • Project Management – Overseeing daily management and leadership of the project and the project team. Setting project controls. Designing the project structure appropriate to stage. Selecting and apply appropriate delivery methodologies.

  • Manage Backlog and ensure IT resources are used effectively and efficiently.

  • Reporting and following up upon the action points mentioned during meetings.

  • Guidance & Support – Seek appropriate support, guidance and coaching from the project community. Show commitment to personal development. Promote effective individual and team performance.

  • Track delivery within budget.

  • Schedule / manage resources to deliver the project. Working with team of DevOps.

  • Ensuring a smooth flow of information to the various stakeholders.

  • Identify key stakeholders and develop effective relationships.

  • Identify and monitor project risks and issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate.

Something for you? Yes! If:

  • You have 7+ years of experience leading digital projects with great responsibility with an asset for project managers in the public sector.

  • You have excellent communication, both verbal and written in Dutch and French and can express yourself well in English.

  • You have experience with IT projects

  • You have great stakeholder management skills, both internal and external and ensure good, cohesive communication throughout.

  • You have knowledge of common project management methodologies (Prince2, Agile etc...) and project management tools (Jira, Confluence etc.).

  • You have experience in drawing up a strategic roadmap for the implementation, stabilization or decommissioning of solutions.

  • You have extensive operational knowledge and analytical skills.
