For one of our top clients – a major international player in the consumer electronics sector – we are looking for a Data Scientist.

Key responsibilities:

  • You manage advanced analytics projects by connecting customer, marketing, and business data (Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure).

  • You manage data engineering projects for automatic ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes, as well as back-end processing and automation of marketing tools (e.g. Adobe Campaign Manager, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target).

  • You manage machine learning projects on topics such as data mining for predictive marketing analytics (CRISP-DM based), customer segmentation, propensity, churn modelling, recommendation engines etc.

  • You support the strategy and roadmap for audience segmentation and personalization through the website, applications, CRM and digital media, and optimize performance through multivariate testing or machine learning.

  • You support simulation and data visualization projects (using Looker), and support ‘do-it-yourself’ analysis for end-users.

  • You communicate with various stakeholders in the business (mapping requirements, establishing global collaborations, evangelize data-driven marketing etc.).

Does this sound like you?

  • You have advanced knowledge on statistical modelling (Machine Learning and Data Science), data processing and data mining (Python and SQL), data engineering, API and cloud computing (Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure and Databricks), and data visualization (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or Looker).

  • You are fluent in English – both verbal and written, for communication, presentations, networking, project management and organizational skills.

  • You have a Masters’ degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, (Business) Economics, Quantitative Marketing or something similar.

  • You have at least two years of experience in a related field and function.
