Work as the UX Project Manager for a leading financial institution


Mobile banking is shaking up the financial industry, its arrival signals the biggest shift ever in the way in which people manage their personal finances and it has captured the imagination of millennials becoming the first port of call for contact with their bank. Nevertheless, there is still a huge untapped market for these services as there remains a large percentage of consumers who do not have access to or perhaps simply don’t understand the benefits of digital banking. Looking ahead, the difference between competitors in the sector will increasingly be determined by the ability to create an intuitive user experience and a complete customer engagement offering, including personalised offers based on data analytics and smart usage of location-based data.

Your challenge? As part of the design team, reporting to the UX Manager:

  • You are an organizational genius who juggles with the many questions and deadlines that are coming in the direction of the UX/design team within Belfius

  • You coordinate and plan, taking into account the strategic priorities and capacity of the UX/design team within Belfius

  • You are the point of contact for project leaders and ux'ers/designers. You ensure that there is always a dialogue and that good and concrete agreements are made

  • You keep an overview of the different projects, deliverable and timings. You are someone who always sees the forest through the trees :-D

  • You use the planning tool of the bank and make sure it is always up to date

  • You ensure that project leaders' briefings meet all the requirements so that we can deliver the best quality

  • You schedule and facilitate the necessary meetings;

  • You coach the team and are assisted by the UX and UI leads

  • You provide the link with external UX agencies and follow this planning globally
