About our role:

Our client is a prominent player in the transport industry, known for their commitment to quality and innovation. We are looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Officer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company's social media presence, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and effectively timed to maximise impact.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the marketing and mobility department, making a real impact on the company's digital footprint in the competitive transport market. What you will be doing:

• Retrieve, gather, and manage data and information across social media platforms.
• Enter, verify, and administratively process data in various software applications.
• Identify incorrect data and make corrections as needed.
• Respond to queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay informed about new developments, trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in social media.
• Assist in preparing documents for statistics and reporting by collecting and analyzing information.
• Develop guidelines for the use of social media platforms and monitor compliance.
• Review content and publishing strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversion.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Support the handling of customer responses and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies on content delivery and data quality.

What you bring:

• Ambition to further develop your career in digital communication within the transport sector.
• Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
• Experience in the transport industry is an advantage but not required.
• Your strengths include strategic planning, creative content creation, and community management.
• Working experience with tools such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc. are essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed in this job.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and any additional languages are beneficial.
